The S700MC ultra high strength steel coil is thermomechanically rolled to deliver a guaranteed 700 MPa yield strength with a low carbon equivalent that keeps the material genuinely weldable. Instead of relying on heavy alloying, Zhengde uses fine grain strengthening through controlled rolling and accelerated cooling, which produces a tough microstructure that also bends well. This combination of strength, weldability and formability makes the coil the preferred starting
